Born and raised in Argentina, Nico brings a global perspective to his investment approach. In his early years, Nico was part of the senior leadership of TECHO and played a key role in driving TECHO to becoming the largest non-profit in Latin America. He then went on to start Miami Angels, an angel investor network based out of Miami where he still serves on the Board. After finding his calling in venture capital, he spent two years with Resolute Ventures before founding Animo Ventures.

Antonio was born and raised in Mexico City. He has a diverse background in areas such as venture capital, finance, corporate law and economic development. He co-founded and was a managing partner for five years at Capital Invent, one of the leading and most active VCs in Mexico and LATAM. Prior to that, he worked as an investor at FJ Labs in NY, an analyst at the Legatum Group in Dubai, a senior analyst at Sabino Capital, a Mexican-based hedge fund, an economic development consultant at the Public Policy Office of the President and a lawyer at international law firm Hogan Lovells BSTL.
As Head Economist he performs economic, market and valuation analysis for the firm.
